VINCI Foundation

The VINCI Foundation for social responsibility

VINCI S.A. is a group, which is led by humanist beliefs and committed to solidarity as a “Partner for sustainable City”. The sustainable economic success of the company is therefore accompanied by a thoughtful and ambitious social commitment.

In practice, it means to support sustainable projects that foster social ties and to accompany people who are excluded from the job market. In the heart of this endeavor, VINCI is permanently initiative. Especially the VINCI Foundation provides an appropriate framework for the solidarity commitment of the groups employees.

The VINCI Foundation works with two supporting instruments.

  • “Knowledge Sponsorship”
Our employees support the Foundation project with their professional know-how and competence.
  • ”Financial Sponsorship”
The VINCI Foundation provides much-needed financial support for selected projects.

Both Sponsorships allow sustainable support for people by people.

Our self-image has always been shaped by a corporate culture built on humanistic values that have come together under the one roof of the VINCI Group. In our own Code of Ethics, VINCI S.A. requires all of the group’s employees to follow a code of conduct when interacting with each other, with partners, and with society as a whole.

Integration as a career perspective is a goal.

Solidary city

Since 2013, the VINCI Foundation has been developing a special program to further support small clubs working in socially disadvantaged neighborhoods. The program is called the “Solidary City” and, with the financial help and sponsorship of VINCI staff members, supports initiatives that these associations carry out for the benefit of residents and social inclusion in deprived neighborhoods of a particular city.

To date, the “Solidary City” has supported 16 projects with approx. € 150,000 in certain quarters of the cities of Ludwigshafen and Bottrop in the areas of education, training, social and professional reintegration. The project was supported socially by 21 employees of VINCI.

Due to its great success, the “Solidary City” program will continue this year. Nine social projects will benefit from a total of 111,000 euros in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt. The VINCI Foundation finances new or existing measures that are being further developed. As a matter of principle, the VINCI Foundation for Social Responsibility funds projects throughout Germany that are dedicated to the training and further education as well as the reintegration of marginalized social groups.
